We are building a world-class People Analytics function at Boston Children's Hospital to support our mission of fostering and sustaining high-performing teams. The Senior Analyst, People Analytics will play a critical role in shaping and executing a data-driven talent strategy. This role will partner closely with HR leaders, business leaders, and other key stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights that enhance talent management, talent acquisition, and total rewards practices.

This Senior Analyst, People Analytics will:

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and HR leadership to better understand data and reporting needs.
  • Lead the design and implementation of People Analytics initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhancement and delivering strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide predictive modeling using advanced analytics and statistical techniques to forecast workforce trends such as turnover risks, talent pipeline needs and other analytics throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Clearly communicates statistical analysis, results, and implications to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing data collection and reporting processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across HR systems.
  • Act as the data steward for all people related data.
  • Develop reports and queries to extract data from multiple sources, analyze data and provide recommendations to assist with complex business decisions.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights to assist with HR decision making. Synthesize complex data to both support decision making and tell a compelling story.
  • Possess a strong understanding of complex HR concepts and processes such as time-to-fill, HR compliance measurement and reporting, employee engagement, turnover etc.
  • Consult with leaders across HR to understand the root of current challenges for which data and analytics can be leveraged.
  • Identify opportunities to bring advanced analytics to empower deeper engagement and more impactful actions for HR Business Partners and leaders.
  • Support end-to-end data and analytics processes, including cleansing and wrangling structured and unstructured data, developing analytics and models, extracting insights, visualizing results, and communicating key findings to HR leadership.

To qualify, you must have:

  • BA degree plus 5+ years of experience with HR Analytics, HRIS, and data visualization.
  • At least 3 years of experience with HR functions, processes, relevant metrics & KPI's.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Change management experience, with the ability to help drive organizational change and adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Ability to communicate articulately and effectively both orally and in writing and the ability to mediate during difficult situations.
  • Exceptional facilitation and problem-solving skills. Must be able to see opportunities to negotiate outcomes where opposite positions exist.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize among multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong technical experience with People Analytics tools, (i.e. Visier, Power BI, Tableau); SQL and prior programming experience helpful.
