Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position in the United States can be found in the JOB INFO section below. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Join Our Team as a Senior Project Manager for Supply Chain!

Are you passionate about Supply and Logistics? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our supply and logistics function. As a Senior Project Manager for Supply Chain, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Inventory, Enterprise Supply Chain, this position is responsible for the end-to-end project and program management activities of key global projects within the Supply Chain organization. The individual in this role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and per scope while closely monitoring and managing cost, risk, and requirement changes. This individual will also be responsible for managing projects at a program level while providing high-level updates to Leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a program to manage and execute key strategic Supply Chain projects that will improve departmental level KPI's such as improvements to risk and cost.
  • Manage annual resourcing negotiations, high-level updates up to Sr. and Executive Leadership, and quarterly reviews with high-level updates focused on roadblocks to overcome.
  • Develop and provide monthly project and program status updates, including KPI dashboards and project risk assessments.
  • Pro-actively and continuously work to identify, flag, and resolve project roadblocks, defusing problems with ease, assessing project and customer needs to match resources needed, and enlisting the support of stakeholders as needed.
  • Lead the development of scope of work, run kickoff meetings for project planning, and drive cross-functional project execution with internal S&C teams including value stream planning, global sourcing, supplier quality, engineering, etc.
  • Ensure project scope is fully understood and that contributor perform to project requirements while meeting the project schedule, cost targets and quality standards.
  • Leverage and further develop existing project management processes, tools, and standards to support strategic Supply Chain projects.
  • Guide, monitor and coach the Supply Chain team on project management standards.

What you'll Need To Succeed:

  • BA/BS in Business or Technical Discipline
  • PMP certification
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of project management experience, preferably in the industrial mfg. sector.
  • Change management experience with internal teams, preferably within a manufacturing and production environment.
  • Experience influencing change while building and maintaining strong work relationships.
  • Knowledge of Confluence, MS Suite, SharePoint Online, and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, and experience working cross functionally.
  • Ability to influence people and effectively communicate with Sr. and Executive Leadership.
  • Ability to re-prioritize and work independently.
