Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges-the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place.
Your Impact
You will be part of McKinsey's Ethics and Compliance (E&C) function and will be based in North America. The E&C function's mission is to manage risks to the firm, our clients, and our people, while also enabling the firm's client impact and innovation. The E&C function is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of the firm.
McKinsey's E&C program is structured in a way that ensures that it is well designed, empowered to function effectively, and works in practice. Our E&C program includes a clear message that misconduct is not tolerated as well as policies, procedures, training, monitoring and consequence management to ensure the program is well-integrated into the firm's operations and workforce. This opportunity works in the Ethics pillar, which is responsible for instilling trust by amplifying integrity and effectively managing concerns. This role reports to the Director of Ethics, Allegations Management.
In this role, you will lead in driving and shaping the Ethics program including implementing strategic and operational initiatives, specifically operating in a team which manages the intake& triage of allegations and complex case management.
You will lead, manage and remediate key risk areas across our firm's Ethics & Compliance program, including proving leadership in addressing legal, regulatory and compliance related reviews. You will be expected to demonstrate your expertise in navigating complex and multifaceted issues to achieve a risk-based resolution.
You will lead in the development of creating and reinforcing consistency across our firm, identifying opportunities to enhance and evolve our Ethics program. You will have the ability to operate within cross-functional teams to meet the right solution.
You will also be expected to identify and leverage internal and external data and emerging trends to develop insights and compelling recommendations for our program. You will leverage your expertise to drive content recommendations for changes to firm policies, standards, and training based upon the insights you gain from data and benchmarking.
To support the Allegations Management program, you will implement data, technology and tooling capabilities to enable visible and optimal data quality, appropriate use of analytics and use of a unified set of reporting systems and tools.
You will develop solutions tailored to the unique needs of our firm and the expectations of regulators, and you will be expected to collaborate and align with a varied set of stakeholders across all firm functions (Legal, Internal Audit, Finance & HR).
You will be given latitude to drive and own relevant organizational, operational, or strategic Ethics initiatives and engage in collaborative partnership with other Ethics & Compliance colleagues and stakeholders.
Finally, you will play a critical role in sustaining and evolving our E&C program and upholding our commitment to integrity and lawful practices.
Your Growth
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues-at all levels-will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you'll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won't find anywhere else.
When you join us, you will have:
