Starting Wage $28+ per hour depending on experience, $1.00 shift premium for working night shift.

Schedule: Night shift (8:00pm to 8:00am)

Our growing company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Lead a team of technicians including delegation to production priorities

* Accountability and reporting for team activities and efficiencies

* Lead with a professional and safe mentality ensuring your crew follow all policies and safety regulations

* Perform trouble shooting, calibration, and repair of production equipment as needed to always keep lines operational.

* Performs scheduled preventative maintenance to identify and replace failed components such as bearings, belts, motors, etc.

* Can read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance.

* Dismantles/disassembles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, using specifications and/or blueprints, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.

* Calibrations and adjustments on various types of devices and production control systems.

* Understands facilities, mechanical/electrical systems and their component functions and relationships; and is competent in their troubleshooting and repair

* Assist other maintenance and production team members as required in support of plant goals.

* Equipment selection - able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to perform the work

Required Qualifications:

* HS Diploma or equivalent

* Maintenance Program Certification or equivalent experience

* 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance capacity in a production setting.

* Demonstrated proficiency or documented certifications in at least 8/10 of the following skills: electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting/programming, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, and pumps.

* Installation, troubleshooting, repair knowledge of electrical systems including 480v and below

* Demonstrated proficiency or documented certifications for diagnosing & troubleshooting 24V controls systems and devices

* Able to interface and cooperate well with production line workers and supervisors, with a strong customer service mindset.

* Demonstrated ability to identify areas of improvement driving efficiency, profitability, or safety improvements.

* Basic math, reading, and computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel, Outlook)

* Manufacturing safety program familiarity (PPE, LOTO, Arc Flash)

* Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.

* Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.

* Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.

* Experience leading/managing a high performance team

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with plastic production equipment a plus.

Physical Requirements:

* Frequent standing, walking, and bending.

* Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 50lbs.

* Eye/hand coordination.

Job Description
- Performs installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems using one or more trade skills (e.g., electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry)
