  • Estimated annual base pay: $27.92(minimum) - $34.90(midpoint) - $41.88(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Operations Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Operations Specialist 1 (Level 1) reports to an Engineering Supervisor. The position supports production from a technical standpoint and has a basic understanding of the product being produced in the area. This person is the first line of defense for production related issues. This person also solves minor manufacturing problems and works with members to implement process and product improvements. This is a non-exempt position on 1st shift (6:30 / 7:00 AM - 3:00 / 3:30 PM) Monday- Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch at our Fort Collins- Lincoln Campus. What You Will Be Doing Core Responsibilities
  • Support production from a technical perspective and troubleshoot minor manufacturing issues and solve problems.
  • Identifies mistakes on various manufacturing documents.
  • Interpret work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
  • Train team members on processes and procedures to ensure operational consistency.
  • Evaluate tooling for current designs and identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Analyze data from current systems to guide problem-solving efforts.
  • Create actionable plans with specific deadlines to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Maintain calibration records for compliance.
Process Improvement and Project Participation
  • Maintain and improve rework processes.
  • Utilize lean principles to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to drive manufacturing improvements.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and/or design/training/implementation of processes including setup/programming/training for tooling, fixturing and manufacturing aids.
Standardization and Quality
  • Contribute to the improvement of manufacturing standards and create/maintain work standards.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to best practices.
Overall Role
  • Act as the first line of defense for production-related challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of manufacturing processes.
What We Are Looking For
  • US - High School Diploma required
  • No less than 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
