Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Estimated annual base pay: $112,000 (minimum) - $140,000 (midpoint) - $168,000 (maximum)

This position is Functional Project Manager in the areas of Sourcing, Operations, Sales or Quality. The Project Manager is accountable for planning, directing, and execution of local and/or global projects. The Project Manager is responsible for directing the project team to achieve project deliverables including contractual and business objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction and QDRC.

What you will be doing...

  • Coordinate and manage multiple complex projects, subprojects, and cross-location efforts, ensuring seamless execution.

  • Present project status to customers and executives, maintaining clear communication of progress, challenges, and outcomes.

  • Mentor and consult with lower-level project managers to foster expertise and professional development.

  • Drive strategic planning and profit alignment, ensuring projects align with organizational goals and priorities.

  • Oversee scope management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.

  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain project management tools while facilitating cross-department collaboration to achieve project success.

  • Ensure compliance with sourcing processes, supplier development, and inventory transition while minimizing total investment.

  • Lead and support Quality initiatives, including Six Sigma projects, CAC/CAB coordination, and global team mentoring.

  • Oversee large customer projects from inception to warranty completion, ensuring performance, transitions, and contractual alignment.

  • Collaborate across functions (Sourcing, Sales, Engineering) to manage processes, support new business development, and align strategies.

What we are looking for...

  • Bachelor's degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS), preferably in Engineering, and 2-5 years of project management experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in a specific functional area (Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing).

  • Expert knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Work Breakdown Structure).

  • Strong knowledge in applicable manufacturing environments, Lean Manufacturing principles, and manufacturing transition processes.

  • Expert knowledge of strategic sourcing principles, supplier relationship management, and commercial management.

  • Solid understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRPII) processes and financial analysis tools.

  • Commitment to Quality Management Systems, compliance standards, and continuous improvement (Six Sigma, BTO Lean).
