Job Summary: Performs and manages contract tasks in compliance with Cubic's policies and processes to assist in the administration of contracts. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the preparation of bids/proposals (RFPs) for submission to customer
  • Assist proposal team in formal RFP responses, objections, and supporting documents, as needed.
  • Directly and frequently interfaces with customers to receive solicitations; respond to questions; resolve problems and issues; and receive contracts.
  • Assist in obtaining and vendor & business licenses.
  • Assist in contracts related billing/invoicing support
  • Assists in the negotiation of contracts and contract modifications with customers which normally includes terms and conditions; contract delivery schedules; pricing and performance requirements.
  • Directly and actively monitors Cubic's performance in meeting contract requirements and reports cost, schedule, technical and program discrepancies to management.
  • Assists in the review and interpretation of contractual adjustments.
  • Notifies and actively engages Cubic's internal stake holders and program management of all changes to contract requirements.
  • Takes action to close out contracts in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Assists in the preparation of non-disclosure agreements with customers and other companies.
  • Ensures compliance with departmental and company-wide contract policies and procedures so that work performed meets legal, regulatory, and contractual and company requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in business, economics or accounting or equivalent.
  • Paralegal experience preferred.
  • Requires proficiency in oral and written communications.
  • Proficient in the use of PC and associated software such as the Microsoft Suite.
  • Possess analytical skills necessary to administer contracts and agreements with various customers.
  • Possess interpersonal skills necessary to interact in sensitive situations dealing with U.S. and foreign agencies and commercial customers.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and work under tight deadlines.

Cubic Pay Range:

$30.00 - $45.00 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
