A Production Control Manager isresponsible for overseeing all aspects of production planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products while meeting quality standards and budget constraints.They manage the flow of materials, monitor production schedules, and collaborate with various departments to optimize production processes and address any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Scheduling:

Develop and manage production plans, schedules, and priorities to meet customer demands and deadlines.

  • Material Management:

Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods.

  • Process Optimization:

Identify and implement improvements to production processes, workflows, and inventory management systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze production data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for improvement and corrective action.

  • Collaboration:

Work closely with various departments, including manufacturing, engineering, and customer service, to ensure smooth production operations and address any issues that may arise.

  • Budget Management:

Monitor and control production costs to ensure that projects are completed within budget.

  • Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Safety:

Implement and maintain safety programs and procedures in the production environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and inventory control.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in production control or operations management within a manufacturing environment.
