About Envi: Inventory Optimization Solutions (IOS), builds and markets web-based supply chain solutions for the healthcare industry under the name Envi. Envi meets the complete materials management needs of healthcare organizations by reducing supply chain inventories, minimizing procurement costs, and increasing visibility. Our application is utilized by manufacturers, distributors, and healthcare providers, leveraging the Internet as a communications and procurement platform and providing access to collaborative inventory management tools.

Summary:

In this role, you will lead and oversee sales strategies, cultivate strong relationships with partner sales managers, and guide supply chain discussions with prospective customers. You'll supervise a team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals while expanding market presence through both partner networks and direct sales efforts. Additionally, you will mentor team members and drive the creation of customized supply chain strategies that address specific customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals, fostering growth, and driving consistent execution across territories.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans, analyze performance metrics to increase market penetration, optimize results, and support long-term growth.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, providing consultative supply chain guidance and ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.

  • Collaborate with partner sales managers on joint initiatives, including co-led sales calls, shared account strategies, and mutual growth opportunities.

  • Oversee the full sales cycle, including product demonstrations and the development of tailored supply chain strategy documents aligned with Envi capabilities.

  • Engage in complex supply chain discussions with prospective and existing clients, identifying solutions and serving as a point of escalation for key account challenges.

  • Drive new business development through direct sales and partner channels, identifying opportunities and securing deals that contribute to revenue growth.

  • Deliver training and represent Envi at industry events, enhancing team and partner knowledge while staying current on market trends and competitive intelligence.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Business, healthcare or a related field preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required. Experience in the healthcare technology industry with a well-established professional network is strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations, with a preference for experience in the non-acute healthcare space.

  • Hands-on experience with materials management or supply chain software (e.g., Envi, Lawson, Oracle) strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing sales teams to exceed strategic goals and drive growth.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver results in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

  • Skilled in conducting product demonstrations, developing compelling sales materials, and delivering impactful client presentations.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
