The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to work at our Corporate Office in Dearborn, MI.
The Benefits Coordinator will manage processes related to Company retirement plans including 401(k) and pension plans and healthcare plans.

Responsibilities
- Monitors 401(k) programs to ensure members are appropriately enrolled
- Assists employees with routine and complex benefit issues
- Provides reporting to support administration of retirement programs
- Assists with 401(k) processes
- Reviews 401(k) deferral and loan updates
- Reconciles and processes weekly employee and monthly employer 401(k) funding
- Assists with pension processes
- Maintains complete online folders for active, receiving, term vested, and deceased participants
- Compiles data for pension benefit calculations
- Provides administrative support for retirement plan audits
- Assists with benefit enrollment processes
- Medical Support Orders
- Open enrollment
- Opt-Out of medical program tracking
- Wellness
- Assists with the leave management processes for Short Term Disability (STD), Family and Medical leaves (FMLA) and Long Term Disability (LTD)
- Provides reporting and data analysis utilizing multiple internal and external reporting tools
- Develops relationships with internal personnel and external vendor personnel to ensure communication channels are utilized to support company initiatives and employee service
- Audits data to validate accuracy
- Develops and edits communications and forms
- Performs special projects as required
Skills/Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of related experience
- Experience administering retirement and/or healthcare plans
- Knowledge of legislation affecting benefit plans
- Medical terminology a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to present information to individuals and groups
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
- Ability to proactively seek and implement process improvements
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, Power Point
- Experience with employee databases and benefit platforms
