Our Company Position Summary An exciting position has arisen for a public sector Associate Senior Legal Counsel based in Adobe's McLean, VA office. The successful candidate will primarily focus on a broad range of outbound enterprise licensing and sales matters primarily for North American public sector customers including the U.S. government, U.S. state and local governments, Canadian government and provincial and territorial governments for on-demand services, managed services, on-premise software, and professional services - areas that are critical to Adobe's success. There will also be opportunities to help shape processes, create templates, create and provide training and work with our Compliance and Government Relations teams. The candidate must have experience in negotiating complex software license and professional services agreements. Experience supporting enterprise licensing and sales of on-demand service/cloud-based offerings is a strong plus. The successful candidate must be prepared to negotiate and drive strategic transactions and a significant volume of sales/revenue agreements. In addition, the successful candidate must also be prepared to counsel Sales, Sales Management and other key partners on a variety of government regulation, licensing, intellectual property, anti-trust, privacy and data security law topics. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
