What you will do:

We are looking for skilled Journeymen who have worked in residential, light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team to work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment.

Journeyman must be skilled craftsmen in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment service industry.
How you will do it:
  • Adhere to Johnsons Controls industry leading safety program.
  • Maintain Customer Relationships though Service Excellence.
  • Maintain Customers Systems through Preventative Maintenance Contracts.
  • Work with Customers on Service repairs and Solutions.
  • Change and Service Filters
  • Oil and Grease Bearings
  • Perform Belt adjustment and replacement services.
  • Perform Cooling Tower and Condenser Maintenance (coils, evaporators, and tubes)
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks as required by customer contract.
  • Operate mechanical equipment if deemed necessary by customer contract.
  • Operate maintenance tasks using basic hand tools as needed.
  • Perform Indoor Air Quality related maintenance including but not limited to the cleaning of duct systems and drain pans.
  • Transport rigging equipment to and from sites as needed.
  • Responsible for servicing product and equipment on luxury yachts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
What we look for:
Requirements
  • Requires Mechanical Journeyperson status
  • 5+ years of residential / light commercial /commercial HVAC / mechanical troubleshooting experience.
  • Valid driver's license, appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, boiler and steam operational & service knowledge.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • This is a Bargaining Unit Position.
  • Be a member in good standing of Local 440 Plumber & Pipefitters
Assets
  • Knowledge of BACnet and Modbus communication protocol will be preferred
  • Previous technical/installationexperience
