We are looking for skilled Journeymen who have worked in residential, light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team to work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment. Journeyman must be skilled craftsmen in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment service industry. How you will do it: Adhere to Johnsons Controls industry leading safety program. Maintain Customer Relationships though Service Excellence. Maintain Customers Systems through Preventative Maintenance Contracts. Work with Customers on Service repairs and Solutions. Change and Service Filters Oil and Grease Bearings Perform Belt adjustment and replacement services. Perform Cooling Tower and Condenser Maintenance (coils, evaporators, and tubes) Perform general housekeeping tasks as required by customer contract. Operate mechanical equipment if deemed necessary by customer contract. Operate maintenance tasks using basic hand tools as needed. Perform Indoor Air Quality related maintenance including but not limited to the cleaning of duct systems and drain pans. Transport rigging equipment to and from sites as needed. Responsible for servicing product and equipment on luxury yachts and ensuring customer satisfaction. What we look for: Requirements Requires Mechanical Journeyperson status 5+ years of residential / light commercial /commercial HVAC / mechanical troubleshooting experience. Valid driver's license, appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, boiler and steam operational & service knowledge. Good verbal and written communication skills This is a Bargaining Unit Position. Be a member in good standing of Local 440 Plumber & Pipefitters Assets Knowledge of BACnet and Modbus communication protocol will be preferred Previous technical/installationexperience
