Director, Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) Operations Support

The Director of IKC Operations Support will help guide business development and operations to new levels of growth and performance. As a member of the Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) Ops Support core leadership team, the Director will report directly to the Vice President of IKC Ops Support. The Director will be responsible for managing strategic and operational initiatives within DaVita IKC Operations. This position will work on high-priority initiatives in a rapidly growing strategic business unit by collaborating with a cross-functional team of clinical, operating, and business leaders across DaVita IKC and DaVita more broadly. The Director will serve as a key thought partner, internal consultant, and project executor in evolving innovative models of care for CKD and ESKD patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration with clinical, operational, and senior business leaders

  • Partner with the VP of IKC Ops Support to develop and execute key strategic imperatives

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment across service lanes and stakeholder groups

  • Identify management process gaps and lead implementation of effective solutions

  • Oversee and advance the adoption of processes and solutions to improve clinical and business outcomes

  • Serve as a liaison between innovation, business, and operational teams to support initiative success

  • Lead high-impact projects by tracking performance metrics, managing progress, and preparing executive-level updates

  • Shape and deliver internal and external communications, including messaging for key stakeholders

  • Conduct and synthesize analyses to inform decisions and enhance operational capabilities

  • Represent Ops Support as a subject matter expert in forums, informing critical operational decisions

  • Manage relationships with multiple Operations VPs and ensure alignment with business priorities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of individual contributors, ensuring accountability and delivery

  • Oversee teammate engagement, development, and performance, including hiring, onboarding, and coaching

  • Foster a culture that values inclusion, belonging, and continuous improvement

  • Contribute to broader coaching efforts across the Ops Support function

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Remote role; travel up to 25% required

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in value-based care

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Prior experience as Director of Operations or Strategy, Chief of Staff, PMO Leader, or in a similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives

  • Innovative and flexible thinker with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously across teams

Experience leading the following:

  • Design, implementation, and administration of operating strategies, operating models, governance models, and service delivery models

  • Continuous improvement processes and initiatives

  • Ideation and innovation processes and development

Demonstrated track record in:

  • Strategic thinking

  • Leading in a highly matrixed organization to achieve objectives

  • Resourcefulness, the ability to find and implement effective solutions despite time or resource constraints

  • Integrity must be viewed as highly trustworthy and able to handle confidential matters

  • Strong judgment and decision-making ability, including knowing when and how to challenge decisions and make tough calls to maintain progress

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to persuasively deliver presentations to senior executives

  • Passion for building trusted-advisor relationships with partners to create tangible results

  • Leadership in an ambiguous, dynamic, high-energy, and fast-paced environment

Salary/ Wage Range

$133,000.00-$195,000.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
