Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering MTS in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Define and implement the technical infrastructure required to merge the ever-growing B2C scale communication channels with the highly programmable Salesforce enterprise platform. Work on a complex distributed, multi-tier platform using technologies such as Kafka, Netty and other open-source Java libraries. Code side-by-side with developers on the real time platform that supports the Live messaging application by using Omni-Channel routing. Write JavaScript in Lightning to achieve micro-second, real-time push communications and build UI components that customers will love. Be part of making the real time platform, performant, scalable, and continuously available (zero down time). Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering leaders to define, architect and implement various Live Chat features. Drive quality by test case authoring, writing unit, functional, and integration tests automation, including negative and disruptive testing. Ensure 24*7 availability of our services, participate in release and on-call duties, conduct design and code reviews and provide leadership and mentorship. ^Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Apache Kafka; (2) Bootstrap (3) PHP; (4) Spring; (5) SQL; (6) SOAP and REST; (7) AWS; (8) Maven; (9) Kubernetes; and (10) Junit and Selenium.

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.

Salary: $137,259.00 - $172,800.00 per annum.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $137,259 to $172,800.
