This is a full-time in person position which requires being onsite at the MGH bridge clinic located on the main campus. The work week schedule is Monday through Friday.
This position will be based in the MGH Bridge Clinic, a transitional outpatient clinic that provides urgent access to treatment for substance use disorder (SUD) and works to connect patients to long-term care in their community of choice. The position would also require the recovery coach to engage with female identifying participants interested in recovery coaching services that have been admitted to inpatient units. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Bachelor's Degree PSYCHOLOGY preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Recovery Coach [State Certification] - Generic - HR Only preferred Certified Recovery Support Worker [CRSW - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board for Certification of Alcohol and Other Drug Use Professionals preferred Experience sustained recovery experience 2-3 years required experience working with people with substance use disorders 3-5 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients/families and staff. - Excellent problem-solving skills both one-on-one and in group situations. - Proficient in the use of office equipment and the computer Microsoft Word and Excel. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain written records and reports. - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions. - Demonstrates knowledge of and skill in the ability to safely and effectively operate standard. - Strong organizational and leadership skills.
