We believe in helping people be their best and are seeking to bring together a diverse group of individuals with different viewpoints and skill sets to be a part of a productive and inclusive team OVERVIEW: Head of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) is responsible for continuing the growth of the HEOR function and supporting the growth of the Lantheus portfolio through the development outcomes strategies and execution research projects which support the value of our product portfolio throughout its lifecycle. The role will lead a small team of HEOR leaders and work with various cross-functional partners including Asset Teams, R&D, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to ensure products in development have the data required by payers at product launch and ensure there are strategies for real-world evidence generation to support life-cycle management. This role will be an ambassador for the organization with external organizations to support Lantheus' portfolio, business objectives, and continue to support a positive environment to support the growth of the radiopharmaceutical industry. The position requires a unique mix of leadership, technical, and effective communication skills to continue the growth and integration of HEOR within Lantheus. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop vision and strategy to support HEOR evidence generation and support the development of the overall value proposition for assets in development and in-line products in the Lantheus portfolio
- Establish and maintain cross-functional collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Asset Teams, Market Access at strategic and tactical levels to generate and disseminate robust HEOR findings in support of a broad set of stakeholders including payers
- Develop and execute outcomes strategies for key assets within the Lantheus portfolio at all stages of development
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Asset teams to prioritize real-world evidence generation plans to support life cycle management
- Work with the Market Access Strategy to develop material to support various market access field team payer engagement
- Develop and communicate with key stakeholders across R&D and Commercial to ensure key initiatives are understood and appropriately funded
- Coach and develop a team of HEOR leaders to ensure consistent across therapeutic areas and asset teams
- Collaborate with key external thought leaders [e.g., clinical, payer, patient advocacy etc.] to develop research, execute protocols and/or publish finding
- Collaborate with Medical affairs to ensure the development of strategic publication planning
- Ensures timely execution of robust and innovative evidence aligned with strategy
- Responsible for functional and project budgets ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS: Required:
- PharmD or PhD in Economics, Econometrics, or (pharmacy)epidemiology or any other related fields such as Health Services Research, Health Economics / Economics, Psychometrics, Epidemiology Health Policy, Outcomes Research, and Pharmacy Administration
- 12+ years of experience in health policy, public programs (Medicare, Medicaid), or government sectors, with a focus on payer/commercial expertise
- A minimum of 5 years managing high-performing teams and ability to develop talent
- Expertise in protocol development, selection of patient-reported outcome tools for clinical trials, economic modeling, real-world evidence generation and demonstrated success using real-world data
- Proven track record leading complex products and/or research in support of pipeline development and on-market products
- Knowledge of the global regulatory, health technology assessment and payer landscapes as well as understanding of other development-related functions as they relate to all phases of drug development
- Proven track record of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Track record of successfully collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional outcomes
- Ability to navigate and lead organizational changes and deliver results; take ownership and manage large scale transformation programs and execute on work-streams
- Results-oriented leader with ability to work in dynamic environment with changing and multiple priorities, practical problem solver and strong prioritization skills
- Innovative, capacity to think through enterprise lens and forward thinker with good grasp of new technologies, competitive landscapes, and the regulatory environment
- Strong collaborator and change agent with demonstrated experience in influencing stakeholders to support decision making processes
- Routine overnight travel based on business need
Preferred:
- Experience in Oncology, including prostate cancer, or Neuroscience
- Clinical and/or technical discipline knowledge (e.g., radiopharmaceuticals, theranostics, treatment paradigms, and future trends)
