GENERAL FUNCTION

The Distribution Clerk 2 - Transfer Clerk performs general warehouse activities including but not limited to scanning product to reduce inventory, and flexible to work in other areas of the business.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Receives incoming product from packaging team
  • Processes product per the established procedures/UPH.
  • Checks product and label for errors
  • Prepares product for inventory accuracy
  • Prepares product for shipment.
  • Work in SAP with different transaction codes to move product out of NAASC's inventory
  • Completes projects as assigned by NAASC team
  • Able to troubleshoot
  • Other duties as assigned



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year(s) of distribution experience
  • Excellent mathematical aptitude/numerical recognition
  • Flexible to work in different positions
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested
  • Ability to communicate/cooperate with NAASC associates
  • Ability to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.)
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours
  • Ability to interact professionally with both company teammates



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Prior experience in distribution center/warehouse preferred
  • Optical knowledge and/or worked in a production environment

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
