Job Description

We are currently hiring a Social and Digital Communications Co-op-at our Samuel Adams Brewery and Taproom

The Social and Digital Communications Co-op-Samuel Adams Brewery and Taproom will assist in executing digital communication plans for Samuel Adams hospitality locations in Boston including supporting social media content creation, managing online communities, and collaborating on event communication strategies. The intern will also help track and analyze social media performance, produce reports, and ensure up-to-date listings on various platforms. This role involves working closely with senior team members to drive brand awareness and engagement.

What you'll brew:



  • Assist in executing the digital communications plan for both Boston Samuel Adams locations, including social media posts, newsletters, and other digital communications, while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Support the creation of content for social media, including Instagram posts, reels, stories, etc., collaborating with the local team to create engaging content.
  • Help manage the online social community by responding to direct messages, commenting on posts, and sharing user-generated content.
  • Assist in creating content and copy for bi-weekly newsletter communications, highlighting onsite events, weekly programming, upcoming beer releases, available merchandise, etc.
  • Track and analyze social media posts and newsletters, responding to analysis and consumer trends, and assist in producing monthly reports of strengths, opportunities, and action items.
  • Work with the Events and Rentals Marketing Specialists on communication strategies surrounding events, programming, rentals, tours/tastings, etc., to drive awareness and foot traffic.
  • Ensure up-to-date listings on all online calendars and websites and local third-party newsletters for events and marketing programs.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Must be a student currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Management, Communication, Digital Marketing, Public Relations or Business Writing,
  • Student must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to commit to a 6 month Co-Op Cycle - July- December
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to be attentive to all aspects of the manufacturing environment while working
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Must be self-motivated and proactive
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
