Daikin Applied is seeking a talented Sr Business Analyst - Digital M&A. The Sr Business Analyst - Digital M&A will drive Digital's M&A strategy and execution, working directly with MORs, business leaders, functional stakeholders, and Digital teammates. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid

What you will do:



  • Represent digital

    • Ensure that DAA Digital has a seat at the table and is 'present' and participates actively on all discussions related to M&A, Corp Dev and affiliates conversations
    • Present from the digital perspectives, bring the messages and communications back to digital from M&A team and MORs
    • Provide status and report outs on M&A work being done by DAA Digital


  • Execute due diligence

    • Engage in due diligence efforts on the targets that are being evaluated
    • Develop and maintain the questionnaire, capture responses and develop thoughtful insights
    • Partner with security to drive security assessment and help manage their plan of actions
    • Prepare cost of integration estimates and scenarios of integration
    • Submit final recommendation, cost estimates, observations, hypothesis and report to M&A team


  • Post merger integration

    • Prepare the project plan for Day 0, Day30, Day90, mid-term and 1 year integration scope
    • Develop a set of 'must do' requirements for PMI partnering with security and functional teams
    • Capture business requirements from each functional stakeholder on desired target state and prepare cost estimates for PMI
    • Project manage (or help the M&A PM) to execute on PMI


  • Managing M&A playbook, templates, assets and develop best practices

    • Develop Digital playbook on 'how to execute M&A'
    • Develop standard templates, guidelines, deliverables and reusable assets to continue improving the M&A process
    • Manage overall inventory of affiliates and their acquisition information

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, Business analysis, or a similar field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 4+ years of experience in Digital, BRM, program management, and data analysis.
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 6-8 years of experience in data analysis, Business analysis, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • 8-10 yrs of experience in Digital, BRM, program management, and data analysis
