Custodian (Part-time)

The Custodian is responsible for the cleaning and grounds upkeep of The Salvation Army Wausau facilities. They will provide basic maintenance such as changing light bulbs, painting, checking and cleaning filters, clearing drains.

About the role:

• Routine cleaning of all areas of the facilities following a regular schedule.
• Set-up rooms as required for all meetings.
• Receive and deliver goods/donations to proper place in building.
• Follow schedule for basic maintenance.
• Keep outside grounds and building clean and safe. Perform seasonal work such as snow removal, gardening and raking of leaves.
• Assist with seasonal programs.
• Provide supervisor with list of supplies to order related to building operation.

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

Certifications: Valid Wisconsin Driver's license with approval to drive from The Salvation Army's insurance carrier.

Experience: Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
