Roseville, MN - Filling industrial How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Title: Project Manager- Bulk Gas

The Project Manager will be responsible for providing a proactive interface between Operations staff and internal partners to ensure effective definition and delivery of all capital projects, including system design and equipment upgrades. This role will also assist in managing project costs, workflow and updates, and bulk gas initiatives.
  • Manages all capital equipment projects including:

    • Develops cost estimates to capital request.

    • Develops P&ID Drawings for new and existing bulk systems.

  • Works with Bulk Engineering for design of non-standard system installations.

  • Works with Field Service Managers to define installation parameters.

  • Works with Bulk Sales Specialists & customers to provide site surveys and technical support.

  • Provides technical assistance to Field Service Managers.

  • Tracks and documents progress on bulk system installations & initiatives.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering or related degree field required. In lieu of degree, consideration for up to 5 years of additional related experience may be accepted.

Required Length & Type of Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of demonstrated experience working within a distribution or manufacturing environment. Prefer prior technical experience with cryogenic liquids and project management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Based Applications

  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to leverage metrics and related tools to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Communication skills that ensure a smooth flow of information between self and others through clear speaking and writing, encouragement of open expression of ideas, and effective listening.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percent.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-starter; self-motivated; well organized; ability to work independently and in a multi-team environment with different personalities and backgrounds.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write routine business reports and correspondence and effectively present information and respond to questions from associates, managers, customers and the general public.

  • Possess conceptual understanding of industrial gas products, production, distribution applications and equipment.

  • Team player with positive attitude; strong collaborative skills; ability to influence without having direct authority.

  • Occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel or use a calculator or computer; and reach with hands and arms

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and move up to 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.

  • Frequent travel within the North Central region (Northeastern WI, Iowa, Minnesota, North/South Dakota)

  • Occasional overnight travel.

  • Workspace space is one that contains moving parts, mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.

  • Requires both indoor & outdoor environments in various seasonal weather conditions. Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from -10 to over 100 degrees.

  • Noise level is usually moderate, but may contain loud noises and/or odors that may last for long periods of time or on a continual basis.4

Salary Range: 85k-95k
