About The Position The Senior Auditor works closely with all levels of management to lead assessments around the Company's operations and projects, focusing on those that support strategic initiatives and business plans. The Senior Auditor plays an integral role in evaluating the effectiveness of business processes and internal controls in a wide range of areas such as key business programs, corporate governance, risk management, and business planning. Key responsibilities include:
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or business related field) from an accredited college or university required. Advanced college degree preferred. Three or more years of relevant experience in external or internal auditing required. Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and/or business risk assessment in a regulated environment preferred. Public accounting or audit experience preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or similar certification required. Proficiency in internal auditing professional standards required. Additional InformationAmeren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $86,400.00 - $133,900.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
