JOB SUMMARY:

Andersen is seeking a Manufacturing Manager II (Internally: Value Stream Manager II) at its Cottage Grove, MN location. This position is responsible to manage and drive the process of continuous improvement for the value stream supply chain (procurement to delivery) and to deliver overall business results for assigned value stream. May be responsible for multiple and/or complex/changing value streams. Responsible to break down large/complex value streams to smaller/simpler value streams and delegate change tasks. This position also ensures that assigned value stream(s) are operated in accordance with Andersen Corporation's values, employee covenant, and strategic direction. Actively develops multiple leaders.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver agreed to value stream results in the areas of safety, quality, customer service, costs and associate satisfaction/development. *
  • Define and communicate performance targets for safety, quality, customer service, costs and associate satisfaction/development with Value Stream team. Hold team accountable to those targets.
  • Develop and implement plans to provide process improvement in key areas defined above. Value stream improvement initiatives will be aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles and the manufacturing strategic plan.
  • Establish an environment conducive to high levels of morale, associate satisfaction, and performance to promote the growth and development of the value stream team.
  • Deliver performance to budget. Use participative approach in budgeting process.
  • Acquire the appropriate people, technology, equipment and financial resources necessary to meet customer expectations and implement the business improvement plans.
  • Support new process and product development and implementation.
  • Be highly visible to associates and create a safe environment for participation. Promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem solving; mentor and develop Value Stream Supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 year degree from accredited college/university and/or combination of education and experience
  • 5 - 10 years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of world-class manufacturing to include lean methodolgies, safety, quality, EHS
  • Business accumen and knowledge
  • Proven leader of people and process

COMPENSATION:

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $108,941-$168,859 annually.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
