General Laborer

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe, organized, and efficient. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Duties

• Assist in the construction and demolition of structures, including buildings, roads, and bridges.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and transport them to designated areas on-site.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures as needed.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and safety protocols.

Skills

• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
