About the Role
Redhorse Corporation is actively seeking a National and Compartment Programs (NCP) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide support working directly for NCP leadership on signature reduction (SR) issues related to special programs under the purview of the Under Secretary of Defense (Intelligence & Security).
This support includes assisting with oversight, strategic planning, coordination, de-confliction, operational support, finance, security, training, and logistics and has a direct impact on sensitive operations worldwide. The work location is the Pentagon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on behalf of the Department of Defense to coordinate across the DoD and Non-Defense Federal Departments and Agencies (NDFDAs) for operational support and to ensure both DoD and NDFDA's equities are recognized and protected at all levels.
  • Work with Defense Support to Sensitive Activities (DSSA) on specialized SR methods and techniques within the scope of pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents and major issues, program goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with OSD, NSC, Congress, Defense Agencies, Combatant Commands, and the interagency on programs.
  • Advise senior DoD leadership of substantive unusual problems characterized by their breadth, importance, or severity. Provide program-specific technical and administrative guidance to stakeholders and recommendations on SR projects to DoD senior leaders.
  • Provide security and policy recommendations for program stakeholders, ensuring DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) equities are recognized and protected at all levels.
  • Liaise with the interagency to SR coordinate programmatic policy and practices.
  • Ensure all security requirements are upheld and facilitate the identification and implementation of all appropriate mitigations and incident response measures.
  • Spearhead interagency coordination of all security requirements and procedures.
  • Present NP&PS leadership and executive-level decision makers with well-considered, organized policy and management advice based on evaluation of doctrine and best practices.
  • Communicate DoD positions on SR issues to the interagency and the Executive Branch.
  • Provide SecDef, USD(I&S), and senior officials with informed insight and courses of action for the provision of SR, Defense Sensitive Support, and program management.
Required Experience/Clearance
  • US Citizen with TS/SCI US government clearance (Active). Applicants who are not US Citizens and who do not have a current and active TS/SCI security clearance will not be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively.
  • Proven ability to communicate-verbally and in writing-complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Desired Experience
  • Thorough SR knowledge of the DoD and the IC, including missions, functions, organization, members, and relationship is highly desired.
  • Thorough knowledge of handling ACCM, SCI and SAP information to include administration and management is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with DoD and IC Directives and policies that govern the administration of ACCM, SCI and SAP information is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of SR information, physical, personnel, and security programs, policies, and procedures is highly desired.
  • Experience working SR and Defense Sensitive Support actions is highly desired.
  • Experience planning, coordinating and executing sensitive operations in a DoD environment and with interagency partners is desired.
  • Experience implementing and overseeing intelligence policy programs and experience as a staff action officer on an OSD, JCS, or Military Department headquarters staff is desired.
  • Providing subject matter expertise in SR, security, analysis, requirements, strategic planning and concept development, program analysis and evaluation and policy is desired.
  • Supporting DoD intelligence and intelligence related activities, sensitive operations, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance, sensitive support activities, and intelligence community issues is desired.
  • Demonstrated success dealing with senior-level officers, executives, and appointees on politically sensitive topics or contentious issues is desired.
  • 10 years' experience working with government is desired.
  • Military experience is desired.
