Counselor Aide - Full Time

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Counselor Aide to work Full Time, all shifts available.

Pay Rate: up to $18.00 per hour.

Sign-on incentive up to $1500.00 for full time employees.

Assists with the following counseling responsibilities: screening, intake, orientation, referral, counseling, crisis response, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping, and consultation with other professionals.
• Participates in program administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
• Represents the agency to the community.
• Performs quality assurance activities.
• Displays knowledge of addiction/recovery and/or behavioral health self-help group processes and principles of counseling.

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Customer service and/or human services experience preferred.
• Valid NYS Driver's License, based on service settings.
• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are welcome to apply.
