Woodward is hiring for a 2nd shift Stockhandler to join our team at the Loves Park Campus. Individuals with experience in inventory or stockroom control are highly encouraged to apply! What You Will Be Doing * Effectively using the ERP system to perform various computer transactions to locate, move and adjust inventory. * Interacting with team members and internal customers regularly throughout the day. * Continuously communicating and comprehending verbal and written correspondence (email) to assist internal customers. * Standing, physically moving, lifting or carrying materials, pushing carts, racks, or cages to transport materials from one area of the facility to another. * Working with numbers to perform verification and matching of critical data. * Continually counting parts, cycle counting and repeatedly performing addition, subtraction and division calculations. * Using reasoning and historical data to trouble shoot inventory inconsistencies. * Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. Note: Some product lines have heavier lifting requirements due to product type. * Ability to stand for entire shift. * Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear. * May be required to pass Near vision and/or Color vision examinations What We Are Looking For * Previous stockroom or inventory experience is preferred * Experience in handling inventory in a warehouse environment is desired * Solid computer, reading, writing and math skills are requested * Ability and willingness to work in a team atmosphere and adhere to safety policies and procedures Minimum Requirements: Level 1: * High school diploma or equivalent is required Level 2: * High school diploma or equivalent is required * 1 or more years of experience in an inventory, stockroom or related experience type of role
