ABOUT THE ROLE The Receptionist serves as the face and first impression of Howard Hughes for all internal and external clients. In this role, the Receptionist is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate for this role maintains the utmost professionalism, superior customer service, is able to anticipate needs for all office events and is able to manage ad hoc projects as needed. What You Will Do
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and calls, directing inquiries appropriately while ensuring a polished front office experience. Maintain lobby flow, coordinate daily lunches, oversee common areas, and support building needs through liaison with property management and internal teams.
Coordinate logistics for meetings and office events-including scheduling, catering, AV setup, and material preparation-while supporting report generation, spreadsheet tracking, and interdepartmental administrative needs. Proactively collaborate with support teams to enhance in-office efficiencies and overall team support.
Manage mailroom operations, including sorting, distributing, and sending mail; maintain adequate supplies for shipping, break rooms, kitchens, and office equipment. Ensure printers/copiers are fully stocked, supervise porter staff, and perform light cleaning to maintain a professional and functional work environment.
