Essential Job Responsibilities:
Summary/Objective:
The Motor Pool Dispatcher is responsible for performing dispatching of vehicles and radios to support

Terminals activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

*Assign vehicles and radios to labor prior to shift logging proper credentials for accountability.

*Communicate with mechanic's shop to ensure vehicles are serviceable and sanitized.

*Report radios with communication deficiencies to department manager.

*Report any equipment not returned or damaged with employer's complaint filed to department manager.

*Ensure equipment is ready for next shift.

*Support Terminal's operations during work hours.

*Occasionally drive through container yard during busy conditions.

*Support Security department needs for additional radios or vehicles.

*Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

*Valid Driver's License

*Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

*Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Strong organizational skills

Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Work environment:

*Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

*Exposure to computer screens.

*The office staff may be required to work outside on their feet 3-5 times a day several times a week depending on the workload.

*Exposed to outside weather conditions.

*The noise level in the work environment is occasional.
