About the role: As a Mechanical Assembler, you will use your mechanically inclined knowledge to perform assembly activities, drill and tap holes and surface grinding using calipers, gauges, micrometers and measuring tools. You will report to the Shop Supervisor and be located at the Westinghouse facility in Shoreview, MN. No relocation provided. We can consider candidates eligible to work without sponsorship now and in the future. Responsibilities: Perform assembly activities, drill and tap holes and surface grinding Use calipers, gauges, micrometers and measuring tools Use general computer and math skills Read blueprints Maintain Westinghouse "Security" and "Fitness for Duty" programs requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent 0-5+ years Mechanically inclined and able to use calipers, gauges, micrometers and measuring tools With instructions, perform assembly activities, surface grinding, drill and tap holes Computer and math skills #LI-OnSite Why Westinghouse?
