Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and creative Licensed Community-Based Therapist who believes that everyone is entitled to great care. One who is dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered therapy to youth, young adults, and families within their communities. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, where flexibility and creativity in therapeutic interventions are key. This position is designed for someone who loves to be out in the community, engaging with clients in their natural environments, and who is passionate about breaking down barriers to mental health care, especially around transportation and access.

We are dedicated to creating an inclusive, supportive work environment where you are encouraged to grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. If you are passionate about breaking down barriers to care and making a positive impact on individuals and families within their communities, this is the opportunity for you.

Job Responsibilities:

Follow all department and company guidelines. Stay up to date on best practices and perform duties to professional standards. Help coordinate care for patients who need follow-up support after leaving the hospital or entering long-term care. Stay organized and finish work on time. Take a leadership role and work closely with supervisors and team members. Recognize areas for personal growth, seek out learning opportunities, and share knowledge with colleagues. Act as a go-to resource for clinical support. Support quality improvement efforts, promote safety, and respect cultural differences. Provide age-appropriate care that meets each patient's physical, emotional, and educational needs. Treat everyone-patients, visitors, coworkers-with courtesy and professionalism. Stay informed about laws, regulations, and policies that impact your role. Complete all required training and support the organization's compliance efforts.

What You'll Need:

  • A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, family therapy, or a related field.

  • One of the following Missouri licenses (or working toward it): LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PLPC, LMSW, or PLMFT.

  • If not yet licensed, you must agree to begin the process upon hire and follow all required steps under supervision.

  • Knowledge of mental health terms, diagnosis, and treatment approaches.

  • Basic research skills and a solid understanding of mental health theory and practice.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

  • Good judgment, adaptability, and leadership qualities.

  • Must complete training as assigned during onboarding.

  • If driving is part of your role, you must meet company driving policy standards and maintain them.
