As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Rounds in SAN JOSE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Through routine patrols and a visible presence, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
• Maintain awareness of the healthcare environment and assist staff, visitors, and patients with security-related concerns or requests.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, staff, and first responders, supporting a welcoming atmosphere in the healthcare setting.
• Assist in the implementation of emergency response protocols when required, remaining alert to changing situations within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
