Description
The Senior SEG Marketing Strategist is responsible for the development and execution of go-to-market strategies focused on SEG (Special Employee Groups) growth and engagement as represented by member acquisition and Lifetime Value outcomes. This role will serve as the central driver of SEG initiatives in Marketing, collaborating cross-functionally across Marketing, BUs and Business Development to ensure SEG needs - and SEG member acquisition goals - are fulfilled.
This position requires an extensive understanding of the motivations and preferences of the 'tech' audience - both tech employees and tech decision makers - to inform the shaping and implementation of a SEG growth strategy at scale.
Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:
Job Duties
  • Lead the development and implementation of cross channelgo-to-market strategies for SEG growth and engagement to deliver against Marketing-owned SEG growth goals in member acquisition and member lifetime value
  • Serve as the central protagonist working with product owners and product strategists to identify features or promotional offers that would benefit SEG audience needs and preferences. Collaborate with product owners to articulate scale of opportunity and business impact.
  • Collaborate with SEG Channel owners and SEG BD leadership to ensure a seamless and aligned SEG employee experience within Marketing-generated activities
  • Serve as the central point in Marketing to ensure SEG targeting and considerations are incorporated into planned product campaigns as a standard (unless product or promotion is misaligned with audience needs)
  • Collaborate with Business Development leadership to align on priorities within Tier 1, Tier 2, and dormant SEGs
  • Identify and leverage SEG customer insights, behavioral data, and market trends to inform targeting strategies, offer development, channel selection, and content planning for SEG audiences
  • Identify high priority demographic groups within SEGs for targeting - e.g Gen Z new graduates - and develop GTM and content strategies to best capture these opportunities
  • Define and optimize the communication journey and channel mix for highest priority tech sector targets, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
  • Collaborate with lifecycle management (LCM) owner to determine need and focus of SEG versioned LCM path for members in our priority SEGs to increase SEG lifetime value
  • Explore and pilot ABM strategies to deepen engagement with high-value accounts to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive the creation of SEG-specific content by partnering with internal teams and external creative resources. Ensure content volume and quality align with GTM objectives.
  • Specify and report out monthly on key performance indicators and progress to membership growth goal. Adapt and pivot SEG Marketing strategy in response to learnings and changes in organizational or market conditions.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 10 years' experience setting marketing strategy and leading marketing projects in a multi-channel, multi-product environment
  • Proven experience in orchestrating cross-functional teams, with a track record of driving results through collaboration and innovation.
  • Demonstrated expertise and success in delivering business growth
  • Demonstrated expertise of tech worker preferences, and tech industry trends as a whole
  • Strong understanding of Account Based Marketing techniques
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and align teams around shared goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree (in Marketing, business administration or a related field) required or equivalent years' experience
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 | (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:$125k - $145k annually + annual bonus
